When the legal industry took off in 2015, the percentage of women in C-level positions dropped from 37% to 27% in the next two years—so, what’s the deal? Why are women so often overlooked in “booming” industries, when they should be at the forefront?

As the industry grows and cannabis is slowly destigmatized in society, the influx of people leaving alcohol and like-minded, male dominant industries to venture into cannabis has shifted the playing fields.
